I am hesitant to even bring attention to this. There is another youtuber named Timmy Karter. I only know of him because he posted a video where Kurt very briefly appears in the beginning. Because of this video, the youtube algorithm recommends Timmy's chanel to anyone who watch Kurt's channel.

Anyway, I've seen some of Timmy's videos and noticed that he has left many negative comments about Kurt in the comment section. I don't know the history between the two, but will say that Timmy comes across as a jealous hater. Well now he has taken his hatred to another level and actually posted a video where he trashes Kurt's character and makes certain allegations about Kurt in Cuba. The allegations essentially boil down to how, in Cuba, Kurt did not blur the faces of scammers or some of the women in his videos, and how they may have gotten into trouble for this reason.

Firstly, the allegations are absurd for a number of reasons, the main one what is he actually claiming Kurt did wrong? Kurt has a visible camera when he films and it would be apparent to anyone that he is filming them. If they could get into trouble for certain activities, then why would they do them on camera? How is exposing cigar scammers who may also be robbing tourists a bad thing? If the government unfairly punishes innocent people, then how is that Kurt's fault? If the women only want dinner or to hook up, then what's the problem? If the women are scammers who may try to rob tourists, then why is it wrong to expose the scam? This would be like saying Dale Philip is the bad guy for getting scammed by a camel ride in one of his videos.

Secondly, the allegations themselves are so flimsy I am actually shocked he would release a video on the topic. They are based on 3rd hand hearsay that is extremely dubious. Its even possible Timmy influenced the people to make the claims on camera. What's more astonishing is that Timmy just posted a video in Cuba where he features women who he possibly paid or are prostitutes, even after his claims that they could get into trouble if their faces weren't blurred.

My opinion is that Timmy Karter is both a hypocrite and has an astonishing lack of self-awareness about his own content. Many of Timmy's videos feature scantily clad women prominently featured in the thumbnail. He makes videos titled 'Colombia's greatest escort' where the thumbnail strongly suggests the woman in the video is a prostitute, even though she is just a nice lady who works at the hotel he is staying at. He goes out of his way to film illegal favela parties or to film illicit activity in 'the hood'. Many times he makes predatory advances on women, with some of the women being clearly underage. He doesn't blur any faces or seem to have any regard for whether the people in his videos could potentially get in trouble or have their reputations damaged.

No doubt Timmy is an attention seeker and posted the video to bait Kurt into a response. Ignoring it might be the best move.

On the other hand, the allegations in Timmy's videos are flimsy enough that if Kurt hires a good defamation lawyer, he could end up owning royalties on Timmy's entire channel. Wouldn't that be a twist.

EDIT: There were a bunch of highly upvoted comments on the video supporting Kurt and raising the same issues I went over in my post. Timmy has deleted most of these comments. This video is clearly a hit job. It is also a fully monetized video that Timmy will make money off of, not the PSA announcement he felt his conscience demanded he make. Timmy is an absolute fraud.

UPDATE EDIT 2: I am reposting Mulvey's comment from below so it gains more visibility:

"If anybody was still under the impression that anything Timmy said was true. Kurt has just posted a story to his IG showing that one of the girls in his video, that apparently has gone to jail for 20 years, is still using WhatsApp daily. Huge surprise, I bet you're all so shocked. 😆"

My updated take: Timmy could have easily shared his 'concerns' with Kurt privately, or asked Kurt for more info on people in the video to ensure his claims were accurate. But he was only interested in making a hit piece to damage Kurt's reputation. In light of this exculpatory evidence, it is abundantly clear Timmy Karter is a sleazebag, a jealous hater, and a terrible person. Timmy is guilty of everything he accuses Kurt of.
